Description
One line
A colony sim where you lead a clan of beavers to build a dam, hold it against a river that never stops pushing, and move upstream to wilder water.
Short
Your clan has settled beside a creek. Chomp trees, dig mud, haul stone, and raise a dam across the water. Then hold it: the current never stops wearing at your wall, and the pond only fills if it stands.
Full
Dam Clan is a colony management game about beavers, built around one idea: the thing you make starts falling apart the moment you finish it. Every section of your dam erodes daily, faster in the spring melt and during storms, and completed sections cost upkeep in the materials your clan has to keep gathering. Repairs stall the moment the store runs dry. A river counts as dammed only when a full-strength wall has held for ten days plus three per river, while the pond fills behind it.
Every beaver is an individual with one of seven trades — forage, chomp, dig, haul, build, guard, research — and real experience in the job you give it. Skilled at thirty days, Master at ninety, working nearly twice as fast. Losing a master builder to a flood or a rival clan raid costs a season, not a unit, and that is what the game turns out to be about.
Six hand-built rivers each break one of your habits: reedy banks with no stone, otter country where the food stores are never safe, a rocky bed, storm country where lightning splits the wall, a town downstream that brings tourists, loggers and the occasional gift. Beyond them lie endless rivers, among them a frozen reach where winter lasts twice as long, a warband fork and a bear run.
Twenty-eight research discoveries across three tiers. Twenty-four trees standing on each river, which must grow back before they can be cut again. Eighteen events, from flash floods, droughts, ice jams, trappers and a river monster to salmon runs, windfalls and wanderers who ask to join. Four hand-painted seasons on every river.
Free, with a single advert when you move upstream. No energy timers, no gacha, no accounts, no login. It plays entirely offline, and the colony carries on while the phone is in your pocket.
Features
- Every beaver learns a trade. Seven jobs, three skill tiers, and real consequences for losing an experienced worker.
- The river never stops. Daily erosion and ongoing upkeep mean the dam is never finished.
- Where you put the wall matters. Five wall types. The middle takes the floods, the ends take the logging crew.
- Storms, floods and rival clans. Eighteen events, each with counterplay: guards, scouts, flood channels, spillways, camouflage, a tail-slap alarm.
- A forest you can strip bare. The twenty-four trees on screen are the actual stock.
- Six rivers, then as many as you like. Hand-built rivers with their own rules, then endless ones.
- Honest free to play. One advert between rivers. No timers, no gacha, no accounts, fully offline.

About the developer
Prism Bear Group Ltd is a one-person studio in the United Kingdom, incorporated in July 2025. Dam Clan is its first game, made solo over roughly a year. Before founding the company its director spent two decades in automotive retail operations, which is a longer way round to making a game about beavers than most people take.
